Hello everyone.  A word of thanks to Michelle, aka Vocal Brush, musician, artist, and one of the best people that I know, for all of her work and time to bring this all together.  She has done more than anyone to help me to bring my ideas and message to a wider audience.  

She has graciously provided her music for me to use as bumpers on my radio show.  In the future I hope to have all of my radio shows archived here for anyone to download or listen to, if we can embed a flash player. 

I just want to tell you all where I am at and what I want to do with the website.  I want to keep up with my blogs on a more regular basis.  And I want to flesh out solutions for people to think about for dealing with the world.

When you look at my "platform" you will see many things that I think are necessary to implement or change in order to make the government more accountable and representative of the people instead of the wealthy and corporate elite.  The implementation of any changes PRESUMES the cutting of the cancer of corporate control out of government dominance.  

That is key, so if you have some qualms with the ideas because of the inherent control that corporations have now then rethink your position based upon that knowledge.

What are some important things that we all need to keep in mind and do for immediate effect?  We can have effect quickly and relatively easily when we move closer to home.  So let us work to be prepared individually, then our family, then our friends, then our neighbors, and our local community.  

We may face some trying times so we need to be prepared to get over the humps.  Have some food and water in storage.  Make sure your home is secure.  Have a weapon or two and know how to use them.  Try to get into some kind of shape, start working out if you don't already, to build up your stamina and strength.  When you have things pretty well situated in your home then start helping your family and spread out from there.  We all need local bases of support and the more people on board the better.  

I see hope in some of the social movements that started last year.  The Occupy meme worked to focus people's attention for a time onto Wall Street which is the source of many of the problems that we face, especially economically.  It can be bought off or co-opted but in the meantime we should think about strengthening that idea.

There is a bigger reality that will have an impact on things but that is secondary to getting on board with preparation.
